Madjid was born in 1943, son of the well
known artistic Rahnavardkar family, from which both his grandfather and
brother were also well-revered International artists. He has painted since
the age of fifteen and in 1959 was honoured with the French-Persian RASI
prize for his work.
Madjid is now respected as an elite global artist and his
bold and vivid offerings have made him a favourite for contemporary décor.
He currently resides in Spain and his work can be found in many private
collections in America, Europe and Asia.
